cal high chapter
The California High School chapter of STEMpathize was created in August 2021. The chapter has been running workshops in the after-school program in Walt Disney Elementary School, Kids' Country, since October. These workshops consist of projects and activities to teach kids creativity, leadership, and innovation, as well as help them gain exposure to STEM subjects.
Their mission is to make a difference in the community by helping inspire the next generation through interactive STEM education, as well as give high schoolers interested in STEM a way to make a positive impact.
In only a few months, the California High School chapter has already made a significant impact. More than 20 interns have joined, and more than 30 kids have been involved in their workshops. They hope to further expand their program in the future, to make an even larger impact in their community!
